ROLX Carter: Rapper or Racketeer?
The rise of ROLX Carter, formerly known as Knoxx, was as swift as his fall. Emerging from Long Island’s underground rap scene, his career was cut short by a 2014 federal RICO indictment tied to the Roosevelt Rollin’ 60s Crips, following his acquittal on robbery and firearms charges in county court.
While fighting his case, Carter faced an even greater battle—end-stage liver disease, coming within 24 hours of death before receiving a lifesaving liver transplant. After serving 8 years and 9 months in federal prison, followed by a year in a halfway house/home confinement, he is now focused on reclaiming lost time and rebuilding his music career.
Now going by ROLX Carter Go Harder, he is set to drop his upcoming single, “GameDay”, marking the start of his next chapter. Stay tuned—his story is still evolving.
